いきなり、ナイジェリアの外務大臣閣下からのメールです。「警告(Attention)」と記入することで読む者を慌てさせようとするのも忘れていません。

それにしても、一つのセンテンスに scam victims という言葉が2度使われるなど、何ともぎこちない文章です。 scam というのはアメリカの俗語で信用詐欺のことですが、日本語で言えば「ペテン」のようなニュアンスです。外務大臣が使う言葉とは思えません。

いつも思うのですが、詐欺メールは大抵、頭の悪そうな文章で一目で分かります。が、詐欺師どもがこのレベルに留まってくれる保証はなにもありません。そのうちもっと巧妙な手口が編み出されることでしょう。「メールを見たら詐欺と思え」の心構えが必要です。
